Senior Presales Solutions Architect

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Own proposal creation from assessment and data gathering through scope, solution design, bill of quantities, and pricing structure.
• Design and present solutions that address client challenges and accelerate digital transformation.
• Partner with sales, technology, service delivery, and legal teams through market launch, contracting, and post-award delivery.
• Shape joint solutions with partners and vendors and demonstrate company capabilities to customers.
• Guide customers and partners in migrating existing IT systems and leveraging company platforms.
• Provide thought leadership through public presentations and technical deliverables.
• Align solution strategies and roadmaps with business strategy and cross-functional fulfillment teams.

Job-specific skills and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Commerce, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in presales, solution architecture, consulting on solution architectures, and technology modernization.
• Expert knowledge of solution architecture methodologies and best practices for application modernization and hosting.
• Strong understanding of networking, servers, storage, virtualization, modernization, and application migration to cloud.
• Commercial and legal acumen, including comfort with P&Ls, business cases, and the solution or service economy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to produce solution documents.
• Fluent English is required; Arabic is a plus.
• Cloud certifications are an advantage.
