Job Title : Senior Planning Engineer

Job Brief

Are you an experienced planning professional who enjoys turning complex projects into successful outcomes?

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the planning and control of major construction projects.

This position offers the opportunity to work on large-scale developments, collaborate with talented professionals, and contribute to projects that make a lasting impact.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with approved timelines.
  • Prepare look-ahead plans, recovery plans, and project forecasts.
  • Analyze project performance and identify schedule risks and delays.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site teams, consultants, and clients.
  • Prepare periodic planning reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Track project milestones and support timely decision-making.
  • Assist in budget monitoring and project control activities.
  • Review resource allocation and productivity trends.
  • Ensure planning processes comply with project requirements and company standards.
  • Support successful project delivery through effective planning and coordination.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 15 years of overall relevant experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience as a Planning Lead or Senior Planning Engineer with a contracting company.
  • Proven experience in the execution of major capital projects of similar scale and complexity.
  • Minimum 8 years of project planning experience in the Arabian Gulf region.
  • Experience working on projects valued at QAR 100 million and above.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera for schedule management and project controls.
  • Experience working within ISO-certified organizations.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
  • High proficiency in written and spoken English.
