Role overview
The Senior Planner works in a collaborative support team to help meet client objectives and support the Project Management division.
Key responsibilities
- Support project planning functions and highlight programme issues.
- Advise project team members and stakeholders on planning; produce programme assurance reports for client commissions.
- Produce progress reports showing variance against baselines, periodic programme updates, and inputs to project reports.
- Coordinate clients’, partners’, consultants’, and contractors’ programmes of work with the project programme; report non-compliance for resolution.
- Support the bidding team as needed to submit bid documentation on time.
Qualifications and experience
- A BSc degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- At least 15 years of postgraduate experience is required.
- Regional experience with a professional consultancy is necessary.
- Advanced proficiency with multiple discipline-specific software applications, such as Primavera P6 and/or other planning and resourcing software.
- Professional working knowledge of project management and planning software and tools.
- Industry experience within the energy and mining sector.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
