The role provides functional leadership to reporting and document control staff and works with document control, quality management, technical delivery, and client leadership.
Reporting architecture and dashboards
- Design, build, migrate, and operate the program dashboard environment, including conversion of existing reports to a consolidated platform.
- Define the data model, refresh cadence, role-based access design, and version control approach.
- Create executive-, program-, and site-level reporting views.
Data governance and analysis
- Set and enforce data standards, naming conventions, validation rules, and reconciliation procedures across program data sources.
- Own accuracy of cost, schedule, deliverable, risk, change, and quality metrics and maintain audit-ready traceability to source records.
- Resolve discrepancies before distribution and document corrections.
- Produce trend and variance analysis, forecasts, early-warning indicators, executive summaries, and short-turnaround leadership analysis.
- Maintain metric definitions, thresholds, and escalation triggers.
Deliverables and team leadership
- Own the integrity of the Master Deliverables Register, including status accuracy, aging, and identification of late deliverables.
- Work with Document Control to support reliable reporting under the program Deliverables Quality Control SOP.
- Report deliverable throughput, cycle time, review turnaround compliance, and rework rates.
- Direct, prioritize, and review reporting analysts and document control staff; establish standard work, recurring calendars, and quality checks.
- Develop team capability in analytics tools and the program data environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in data analytics, information systems, engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- At least 7 years in program reporting, data analytics, or business intelligence, including at least 2 years leading a reporting function or supervising analysts.
- Advanced Power BI proficiency, including data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and executive dashboard design.
- Experience consolidating reporting from legacy tools into a modern dashboard platform.
- Advanced Excel capability with large and imperfect data sets; working proficiency with SharePoint-based document environments.
- Demonstrated ownership of data accuracy in a reporting environment.
