Manages planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of civil engineering projects while meeting quality, safety, budget, and schedule requirements.
The role calls for an experienced Civil Engineer with 8–10 years in construction and project management.
Key responsibilities
- Manage civil construction activities across project sites and review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical documents.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to support smooth execution.
- Monitor progress and ensure delivery within approved timelines and budgets; prepare schedules, resource plans, and progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with codes, standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements; inspect sites and resolve technical issues.
- Verify contractor bills, material consumption, and work measurements; monitor procurement and material availability.
- Lead site engineers, contractors, and subcontractors; participate in meetings and provide technical recommendations.
- Maintain project documentation and change-management records; identify project risks and implement mitigation measures.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 8–10 years of experience in civil construction, project execution, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, structural drawings, and engineering standards; experience managing commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of quality assurance, safety regulations, and project management principles.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, stakeholder-management, and communication skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
