Job Purpose

Purchasing Senior Officer oversees the procurement operations of the organization, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality purchasing of materials, equipment, and services.

This role leads a team of buyers, coordinates with internal departments, and manages supplier relationships to support business objectives.

Procurement Operations

  • Manage the full procurement cycle, including sourcing, negotiation, and purchase order
  • management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and budget requirements.
  • Review and approve purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
  • Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Supplier Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and conduct periodic reviews.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and service-level agreements to optimize value.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with finance, operations, logistics, and inventory teams to ensure smooth procurement workflows.
  • Support project teams with timely sourcing of materials and services.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, cost analysis, and supplier performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • English proficiency, Arabic Preferred.
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in procurement
