Job Purpose

To lead and oversee all quality control activities across Divetech projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards (ASME, AWS, NACE/SSPC), and QHSE requirements, while managing inspection teams and ensuring effective implementation of quality systems and procedures.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise all inspection activities related to materials, components, and workmanship.
  • Ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and approved documents.
  • Review inspection reports, test results, and quality documentation.
  • Identify and escalate defects, non-conformities, and deviations from quality standards
  • Oversee implementation of Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and quality procedures.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record management of all quality activities
  • Coordinate with project teams to resolve quality issues and ensure compliance.
  • Monitor ongoing work to ensure adherence to standards and procedures.
  • Lead site inspections, audits, and client inspections. [QC Lead | Word]
  • Ensure compliance with QHSE policies and safety requirements

People Management Responsibilites

  • Lead and manage QC Inspectors and QA/QC personnel
  • Allocate inspection activities based on project priorities
  • Provide guidance, supervision, and performance support to the team

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Drive continuous improvement in quality control processes and inspection practices.
  • Support audit readiness and compliance across projects.

Qualifications

  • Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Welding, or relevant field)
  • Certification in Quality Control (CQI, Six Sigma, or equivalent) – preferred
  • Good English communication skills
  • Arabic is an added advantage
  • Minimum 6–8 years in quality control / inspection
  • Minimum 2+ years in supervisory or lead role

Required Skills

  • Experience in marine, construction, or industrial environments
  • Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, specifications, and standards
  • Familiarity with inspection tools and testing methods
  • Ability to lead quality inspections and manage corrective actions
  • Knowledge of QHSE standards and safety procedures
