Role overview

Data quality and governance

• Lead reconciliation and validation of monthly aeronautical billing datasets and report operational performance metrics.
• Serve as subject matter expert for operational data and performance measurement, providing guidance on complex data issues.
• Maintain data repositories, data dictionaries, source mappings, and documentation of AODB data flows and integrations.
• Ensure datasets are accurate, complete, and fit for purpose; improve reports, dashboards, data models, and processes.
• Design automated data quality monitoring and anomaly detection solutions.
• Maintain operational databases and Databricks environments; protect data integrity, security, and access controls.
• Optimize database schemas and data structures, and promote metadata management, cataloging, indexing, and lineage tracking.

Analytics and reporting

• Develop analytics solutions using Databricks and SQL frameworks.
• Analyze operational data and deliver actionable management insights, reports, and dashboards.
• Respond to stakeholder data requests within agreed service levels.
• Build AI-assisted analytics, predictive models, and automation solutions.
• Analyze data from AODB, FIDS, BHS, resource planning systems, and third-party operational systems.
• Monitor KPIs, identify trends, and recommend performance improvements.
• Support airport operations and terminal transition initiatives; follow HSE policies and report hazards and unsafe conditions.

Education and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or another relevant numerical discipline.
• 4–5 years of experience in data analytics or reporting; aviation or complex operational environment experience is preferred.
• Proven ability to deliver analytical projects independently and integrate and analyze large datasets from multiple systems.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI and SQL, plus Databricks and/or Python.
• Working knowledge of Python or R is preferred.

Technical skills

• Advanced Power BI development, including DAX, data modelling, row-level security, and deployment pipelines.
• SQL query development and optimization; Databricks notebook development.
• Data pipeline and ETL design, data visualization, dashboard design, operational reporting, and performance analytics.
• Knowledge of aviation data and regulations, process mapping, and documentation.
• Statistical and quantitative analysis; familiarity with AI/ML concepts such as anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and performance modelling.
