Role overview

Procurement strategy and sourcing

• Support departmental objectives and annual procurement and expenditure planning.
• Identify savings, efficiency improvements, and strategic partnerships; conduct spend analysis, market research, risk assessments, and category strategy development.
• Coordinate tender strategies and approvals and manage sourcing and tendering for strategic and high-value procurements.
• Prequalify bidders, prepare tender documents, and coordinate site visits and clarification processes.
• Evaluate technical and commercial proposals and facilitate post-tender negotiations.

Contracts and supplier management

• Lead or support contract negotiations, draft and review contracts, and manage procurement agreements.
• Monitor procurement cycle times and contract performance; manage contract amendments, extensions, and variations.
• Support resolution of contractual claims and disputes.
• Maintain vendor classification and registration frameworks and implement supplier evaluation and performance monitoring.
• Strengthen supplier relationships and coordinate procurement matters with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors.

Governance and team leadership

• Ensure procurement aligns with policies, procedures, governance requirements, and business needs.
• Support audits, recommend corrective actions, prepare periodic reports, and support process automation and continuous improvement.
• Work with HSE teams on risk reviews, promote safe practices and incident reporting, and monitor HSE compliance.
• Manage, coach, mentor, and develop assigned team members and conduct performance reviews.

Education and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Contracts Management.
