Role Description: Senior Network & Email Security Engineer (Saudi National)

Location:  Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (On-site)

About the Opportunity

You will be joining a global technology services environment supporting large-scale enterprise and government-aligned programmes across Saudi Arabia.

This role sits within a highly structured security function, where stability, audit readiness, and incident response discipline are critical.

Overview

We are hiring a Senior Network & Email Security Engineer to take ownership of enterprise perimeter and email security operations within a regulated environment.

This role focuses on hands-on operations, incident response, and audit readiness across network security controls and secure email gateway platforms in production.

Responsibilities:

Network Security

• Operate and maintain NGFW environments (Palo Alto or equivalent)
• Manage rulebase hygiene (cleanup, optimisation, least privilege)
• Monitor HA status, updates, and system health
• Support VPN environments (site-to-site and remote access, MFA integration)
• Perform traffic analysis (logs, PCAP, policy validation)

Email Security

• Manage Secure Email Gateway (Proofpoint or equivalent)
• Maintain inbound/outbound policies and anti-phishing controls
• Oversee quarantine workflows and user release processes
• Support SPF, DKIM, and DMARC alignment with messaging teams

Incident Response

• Lead response to security incidents across network and email layers
• Coordinate with SOC teams and follow defined playbooks
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions

Change & Compliance

• Prepare and execute change requests (CAB process)
• Maintain audit evidence and documentation
• Support compliance with SAMA and NCA frameworks

Requirements

• Saudi National
• 5+ years experience in enterprise network and email security
• Hands-on experience with:
• NGFW (Palo Alto preferred)
• Secure Email Gateway (Proofpoint or equivalent)
• Experience with incident and change management processes
• Strong documentation and reporting skills

Preferred

• Experience in banking or regulated environments
• Exposure to SIEM/SOAR platforms
• Certifications (PCNSE, SEG, ITIL)

Working Model

• On-site in Riyadh (Sunday to Thursday)
• Participation in on-call support for critical incidents
