Senior mobile technician

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex hardware and software problems in smartphones and other mobile devices.
• Perform motherboard-level troubleshooting, IC replacement, and microsoldering where applicable.
• Troubleshoot charging, display, battery, network, audio, camera, and power-related faults.
• Handle software troubleshooting, firmware installation, and device restoration.
• Identify repair needs and recommend suitable customer solutions.
• Promote and sell phones, accessories, and related products; explain product features, specifications, and benefits.
• Identify customer needs, recommend appropriate products and services, and provide customer service.
• Carry out post-repair quality checks and functional testing.
• Keep records of repairs, sales, and spare-parts usage; guide junior technicians when required.

Requirements and qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Mobile Technician or Mobile Phone Technician.
• Strong knowledge of smartphone hardware, software, and advanced repair techniques; hands-on experience with various mobile phone brands.
• Previous sales experience in mobile phones, accessories, or consumer electronics is required.
• Good communication, customer service, and selling skills; able to explain technical issues and recommend products or services.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail; able to work independently and in a team.

• Work is in person in Dubai, UAE.
