The IT Store In-Charge manages IT inventory, supervises store operations, maintains stock records, and controls the issuance of IT equipment and accessories.
Responsibilities
- Manage storage, organization, and safekeeping of IT equipment, accessories, and supplies.
- Maintain inventory records and monitor stock levels.
- Document issuance, receipt, return, and transfer of IT items.
- Coordinate deliveries and replenishment and follow up with suppliers and procurement.
- Track equipment usage, maintain asset records, and report discrepancies or damaged items.
- Prepare monthly inventory and cost reports for the Accounts Department.
- Coordinate with IT to ensure timely availability of equipment and supplies.
- Conduct physical stock counts and reconcile inventory records.
- Maintain serial-number, warranty, and asset-allocation records.
- Ensure inventory movements have proper authorization and documentation.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an IT Store In-Charge, IT Storekeeper, or IT Inventory Controller.
- Knowledge of IT hardware, computer accessories, networking equipment, and spare parts.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP or inventory management systems.
- Inventory control, documentation, and stock reconciliation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- UAE experience is preferred.
