KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Technical Contribution: Deliver quality output by writing and reviewing code, following and refining best practices, and engaging in collaborative architecture, problem solving, and solutioni Continuously profile and optimize application memory usage and runtime performance to ensure stability, scalability, and a high-quality user experience across devices.
  • Work Management: Oversee major feature delivery, considering architecture, timelines, scope, resource availability, and risks.
  • Leadership: Help align your team's activities with the company's overall engineering vision, identifying and driving efficiency enhancements within your team.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with other stakeholders like Product Management and UX to align technical outcomes with business goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicate effectively within your team and with other teams to make sure your technical solutions fit into the big picture.
  • Release Management: Help drive and manage the mobile release process across iOS and Android, including versioning, store submissions, and post-release monitoring.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical:
  • Demonstrated experience designing, writing, and shipping multi-module React Native code on both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Comfortable bridging higher-level framework code with lower-level native code on both platforms (writing native modules and React Native modules).
  • Proficient in writing unit and integration tests to validate correctness early in the development cycle.
  • Experience profiling, diagnosing, and resolving memory leaks, performance bottlenecks, and stability issues using platform-specific tools (e.g., Android Studio Profiler, Xcode Instruments, and React Native performance tooling)
  • Bonus:
  • C++ integration, cloud technologies, localization, computer vision, firmware development, Figma-based design collaboration, CI/CD pipeline creation (GitHub Actions), Firebase Analytics/Remote Config, and release process management.

  • Tools & Platforms: GitHub, GitHub Actions, Figma, Jira, Postman, AWS.

  • HTTP, WebSockets, JSON, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth.
