The Role
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will oversee mechanical site supervision for a luxury hotel development in Diriyah.
The role ensures mechanical works comply with approved designs, specifications, international standards, and project quality requirements.
The project-specific role may require working on site up to six days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the on-site authority and direct client link, helping deliver sustainability commitments.
- Manage client expectations, report progress, and resolve construction-stage sustainability challenges.
- Represent Cundall in meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Create mechanical designs, layouts, schematics, and calculations for HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
- Use AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Revit for 2D/3D drawings and reviews, and HAP for heat load calculations.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, project managers, BIM coordinators, and other engineers.
- Carry out site inspections and surveys.
- Ensure designs meet applicable standards, regulations, and energy-efficiency goals.
- Prepare technical reports.
The Skills
- Engineering degree, such as in Mechanical Engineering, with building services design experience including HVAC and public health systems.
- Proven site supervision experience on luxury hotel, high-end hospitality, or complex building projects.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with proficiency in engineering software.
- Excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
