Role overview

Role responsibilities

• Provide specialist consultancy input across education, healthcare, workplace, retail, and critical systems projects.
• Undertake detailed mechanical building services engineering design and analysis with guidance from experienced engineers.
• Translate clients' needs into designs for buildings, facilities, and services.
• Design ventilation, cooling, air conditioning, heating systems, and other building services with sustainability in mind.

Skills and qualifications

• Be on target to achieve at least a 2:2 degree.
• An accredited or in-progress BEng/MEng degree, or equivalent, in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering is desirable.
• Understanding of Grasshopper or Dynamo parametric modelling, or at least one modern programming language such as Python, C#, or VB, is desirable.
• Demonstrate teamwork, organisation, methodical task management, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with internal and external stakeholders.
• Must have the right to work in the UK; the employer does not provide sponsorship.
