Overview
We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer (MEP) with strong contracting experience to join a leading construction team in Dubai.
This role is ideal for professionals who have hands-on experience delivering high-end residential, commercial, or hospitality projects and can manage site coordination and design execution efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and coordinate mechanical drawings and project deliverables
- Evaluate and oversee HVAC, Plumbing & Fire Fighting system designs
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and main contractors
- Prepare detailed shop drawings for submission and execution
- Perform engineering calculations to support design and site activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Work closely with the Project Manager to improve efficiency and profitability
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 8+ years of MEP contracting experience
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and design principles
- Proven experience in high-end construction projects
- Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to join immediately or on short notice. 6 days/week (as per project schedule)
