Gulf Consulting Group seeks a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Design Consultant specializing in HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and gas systems.
The role delivers engineering designs, ensures compliance with local regulations, and coordinates authority approvals.
Qualifications and requirements
- A university degree and additional relevant qualifications are requested.
- More than 10 years of engineering-consultant experience in mechanical systems design, including HVAC calculations and approvals, is required.
- More than 10 years of engineering-consultant experience in plumbing, fire-fighting, and gas system calculations and approvals is required.
- UPDA (A) is mandatory.
- Strong computer and technical skills with MS Office, CAD, Revit, and HAP are required.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills are requested.
- Candidates should be available in Qatar with an NOC; local hiring is specified.
- A Qatari driving licence is required, and immediate joining is requested.
Responsibilities
- Design HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and gas mechanical systems.
- Prepare calculations and designs in accordance with standard codes and local regulations.
- Coordinate with authorities and obtain approvals, including under QCDD, ASHGHAL, and KAHRAMAA regulations.
- Process mechanical system designs through authority approval requirements and deliver projects on time.
Pay
- Pay is stated as starting from QAR 1.00 per day.
