Role overview

Design and delivery responsibilities

• Develop concepts, master plans, planting plans, hardscape layouts, and detailed designs for softscape, irrigation, outdoor lighting, water features, and external works.
• Prepare drawings, details, specifications, schedules, presentation materials, and construction or shop drawings.
• Review project and client requirements, site conditions, and design standards; coordinate landscape work with architectural, civil, structural, MEP, and other disciplines.
• Select plants and landscape materials; prepare planting schedules and coordinate plant specifications with project and environmental requirements.
• Review samples and technical submittals; conduct site visits and inspections to check work against approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients to resolve design conflicts and technical issues; monitor construction and provide technical support.
• Assist with BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and tender documentation; ensure compliance with local regulations, project specifications, and standards.
• Participate in coordination and project meetings, maintain drawing and approval records, and support timely, quality completion of landscape works.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in landscape design and project coordination.
• Experience in Qatar is mandatory.
• Strong landscape architecture, planting, hardscape, and outdoor design knowledge; experience with detailed landscape drawings and construction documentation.
• Understanding of irrigation systems and coordination with MEP or civil works; AutoCAD proficiency is required.
• Knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, 3D Max, Photoshop, or other design software is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office; strong design, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and spoken English; ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
