Senior Manager – Interior Design role for a developer's Development team in Dubai.
Oversee interior design across high-profile residential and mixed-use projects, protecting design intent from concept through handover while meeting schedules, quality standards, and budgets.
What you'll do
- Lead the full interior design process, from design briefs and consultant appointment through procurement and execution.
- Review consultant design packages against developer design guidelines and purchasers' expectations.
- Check design submissions for technical and commercial compliance, and lead value engineering to meet target budgets.
- Manage consultants, identify risks early, and inform senior management.
- Build relationships with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and authorities.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture; master's degree preferred.
- 8–10+ years managing interior design within a real estate developer or design consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of real estate development processes, interior construction, and specifications.
- Track record managing design teams across concept, development, and implementation.
- Experience coordinating architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
- Understanding of cost estimation and value engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- LEED AP or an international interior design certification is a plus.
