Lead Forward Deployed Engineers and AI Engineers serving strategic enterprise accounts and delivering data and AI transformation programs.
The role combines people leadership, technical credibility, customer impact and delivery governance.
Impact and responsibilities
- Drive regional billable utilization, team growth and hiring while championing delivery excellence and customer success.
- Lead enterprise engagements with account, engagement management and field engineering partners.
- Position and deliver professional services for data migrations, AI/ML platforms and advanced analytics.
- Establish scalable project oversight, risk management and quality standards.
- Act as executive escalation point for critical customer situations and drive resolution.
- Mentor, develop and retain engineers through career pathways, technical coaching and continuous growth.
- Guide delivery across cloud migrations, legacy modernization, generative AI, MLOps and AI agent deployments.
What the role requires
- Experience leading high-performing technical delivery teams, solution architects or professional services organizations and building strong delivery cultures.
- Hands-on technical solutions architecture or data/AI engineering experience to coach senior practitioners.
- Success leading large-scale enterprise data platform migrations and AI/ML programs.
- Executive presence and stakeholder management in complex customer environments, including C-suite influence.
- Familiarity with Databricks, Apache Spark, MLflow, Delta Lake or the modern data and AI ecosystem; Databricks or competitor hands-on experience is highly valued.
