Senior Manager – VAT & E-Invoicing

Key Responsibilities

• Lead UAE VAT advisory and compliance engagements.
• Manage VAT health checks, FTA audits, voluntary disclosures, refund claims, and technical advisory assignments.
• Lead e-Invoicing readiness assessments, implementation support, and process transformation projects.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with CFOs, Finance Leaders, and Tax Heads.
• Review technical opinions, client deliverables, and advisory reports.
• Manage engagement planning, budgeting, profitability, and delivery quality.
• Lead, mentor, and develop junior team members.
• Support business development, proposal preparation, and client presentations.
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise clients on VAT and e-Invoicing developments.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA, ACCA, CPA, ICAEW or equivalent).
• **8–12+ years**
• of relevant experience in UAE VAT Advisory and Indirect Tax.
• Strong hands-on experience with:

• FTA Audits & Voluntary Disclosures

• VAT Advisory

• E-Invoicing And Peppol Framework

• Proven experience managing teams and client engagements.
• Excellent commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills.

Preferred Background

• Current or recent experience in a

Big 4, Tier-2 Audit, or Consulting Firm

• is highly preferred.
• Experience working with multiple client engagements across various industries.
• Knowledge of UAE and GCC VAT regulations and e-Invoicing initiatives.
• Exposure to ERP systems and tax technology solutions is an advantage.
