Serve as a Vice President and seasoned agile-team member within the Commercial & Investment Bank.
Design and deliver secure, stable, scalable technology products supporting firm business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute software design, development, and technical troubleshooting across technical areas.
- Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain synchronous algorithms.
- Drive adoption of approved AI-assisted engineering practices, validation standards, and reusable patterns.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure design constraints are met.
- Coach engineers on responsible AI use, secure handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Analyze large data sets and create reporting to drive software and system improvements.
- Identify hidden data problems and patterns to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
Required Qualifications
- Formal software engineering training or certification and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proficiency with modern Java 11 and Java 21 features.
- Extensive Spring Boot 3.x and Spring Framework 5.x/6.x experience.
- Strong IBM MQ, Apache Kafka, Apache Camel, REST API, SOAP, SQL Server, JDBC, JUnit 5, Mockito, and Maven skills.
- Financial industry experience.
- Demonstrated leadership using approved AI-assisted development tools and validating outputs.
- Responsible AI knowledge, including data sensitivity, secure handling, resiliency, security, and coaching.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS MSK, cloud-native deployment, and AWS infrastructure integration.
- Hands-on microservices and distributed-systems design and implementation experience.
- Cucumber behavior-driven development experience for acceptance testing and living documentation.
