Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all interior fit-out and site execution activities, ensuring works are delivered in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project timelines, and quality expectations.
• Coordinate closely with the Resident Engineer, interior design consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery and effective communication across all parties.
• Review and assess contractor submissions including shop drawings, material samples, method statements, technical documents, and RFIs to ensure compliance with design intent, project standards, and local authority requirements.
• Carry out regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, workmanship quality, installation standards, and adherence to approved interior design details.
• Identify and resolve site coordination issues, clashes, and technical challenges across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Support programme management by tracking interior works progress, monitoring key milestones, and assisting with reporting requirements.
• Oversee snagging, de-snagging, mock-ups, and final handover activities to ensure project completion standards are achieved.
• Liaise with procurement and project teams regarding material approvals, deliveries, and installation sequencing for interior finishes and FF&E packages.
• Attend client, technical, and design coordination meetings, presenting design details and providing practical solutions and value engineering recommendations where required.
• Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations, authority requirements, and health and safety standards throughout all stages of site execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 12–15 years of experience in interior design and fit-out projects, including at least 5 years delivering luxury hospitality projects within the UAE.
• Strong background in five-star hotel projects, with experience managing site execution and coordination through to handover.
• Good understanding of UAE authority requirements, construction standards, and interior detailing including joinery and FF&E.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other industry-standard design software such as SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Revit.
• Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills with the ability to manage contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Previous hospitality, residential, or fit-out contractor experience would be advantageous.
