The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the senior site-based representative for the consultancy and primary point of contact for the client.
• Lead and oversee the delivery of a large-scale hospitality project during the construction phase through to completion and handover.
• Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary supervision, project management, and technical teams on-site.
• Monitor project progress against programme, budget, quality, and contractual requirements.
• Lead project meetings with clients, contractors, operators, and stakeholders.
• Review project risks and implement mitigation measures to minimise delays and delivery issues.
• Oversee contractor performance and ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, health and safety standards, and project procedures.
• Manage reporting, project controls, and executive-level communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support the resolution of technical, contractual, and commercial matters arising during construction.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging, close-out activities, and final handover.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 18 years of experience within an architecture, engineering, project management, or multidisciplinary consultancy environment.
• Proven consultancy-side experience delivering large-scale hospitality developments.
• Demonstrable experience leading at least one major hotel project through construction and handover.
• Strong understanding of site operations, project delivery, contract administration, and stakeholder management.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary consultant and contractor teams on complex projects.
• Strong commercial, contractual, and programme management capabilities.
• Previous experience within the UAE or wider GCC region is preferred.
