Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented
Interior Designer / Senior Interior Designer
to handle end-to-end design execution for residential and luxury interior projects in Dubai.
The ideal candidate will have
5+ years of overall experience
with strong technical expertise and the ability to translate concepts into execution-ready designs.
1. Design Development
- Develop design concepts, mood boards, and space planning layouts
- Create functional and aesthetically strong interior design solutions
- Work on residential and luxury interior projects from concept to execution
2. Technical Design & Documentation
- Prepare detailed drawings including:
- Layout plans
- Electrical and lighting drawings
- Ceiling and flooring layouts
- Joinery and furniture detailing
- Ensure drawings are accurate, execution-ready, and aligned with site requirements
3. 3D Visualization & Presentation
- Create high-quality 3D designs and renders
- Present concepts and designs to clients with clear explanations
- Make design revisions based on client feedback
4. Client Interaction
- Understand client requirements, preferences, and budget
- Translate client needs into practical and creative design solutions
- Manage client expectations throughout the design phase
5. Site Coordination
- Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and vendors
- Conduct site visits to ensure design implementation as per drawings
- Resolve on-site design challenges and modifications
Technical Skills & Expertise
- Strong proficiency in:
- AutoCAD
- SketchUp
- 3ds Max with V-Ray / Corona
- Revit (preferred)
• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong knowledge of:
- Space planning and layout optimization
- Material selection and specifications
- Joinery detailing and custom furniture design
- Lighting design and ceiling detailing
- BOQ preparation and cost understanding
- Design for execution (DFE)
Dubai Market Knowledge (Mandatory)
- Understanding of Dubai authority approvals and regulations (DCD, DM, Trakhees, etc.)
- Familiarity with local vendors, materials, and sourcing
- Experience working with UAE-based clients and projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design / Architecture or related field
Experience Required
- **5+ years**
- of overall experience in interior design
- Experience in residential or luxury interiors preferred
