Support information and cyber security across Legal & General’s Retirement Retail and Investment business areas.
Work with technology teams and business stakeholders, using recognised security frameworks including ISO 27001 and NIST.
Responsibilities
- Translate security policies, standards, and controls into practical architecture patterns and solution designs.
- Advise project managers, developers, and stakeholders on security controls and good practice.
- Monitor security risks and recommend proportionate solutions.
- Assess vulnerabilities from application and infrastructure scans with technical teams.
- Review findings, compensating controls, and risk ratings.
- Evaluate supplier security maturity and support due diligence, tender, and contract reviews.
- Review configurations, identify security issues, and recommend improvements.
- Help scope penetration tests and assess and document their findings.
Candidate requirements
- Understand information security principles and controls, including encryption, identity and access management, and security information and event management.
- Have experience in an IT, technology, information security, risk, or business-focused environment.
- Bring analytical judgement, practical problem-solving, clear communication, collaboration, and organisational skills.
- A relevant degree or equivalent practical experience in computer science, IT, business, or a related discipline is required.
Beneficial experience
- Report writing, metrics, risk management, or security engineering and design experience would be beneficial.
- An adaptable, creative approach and willingness to learn new technologies and solutions are sought.
