Senior Human Resources Manager

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Manage employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, contracts, records, leave, probation, mobility, and UAE visa and immigration processes.
• Maintain compliant HR documentation and processes; improve and automate HR operations.
• Advise employees and managers on policies, benefits, performance, conduct, and general HR matters.
• Support grievances, disciplinary issues, investigations, check-ins, and exit interviews, ensuring confidentiality, escalation, and follow-through.
• Coordinate recruitment from role approval and sourcing through interviews, references, offers, and candidate experience.
• Support performance, talent, and development cycles, including objectives, talent reviews, learning programmes, tracking, documentation, and reporting.
• Manage payroll inputs, benefits, insurance, and end-of-service processes with Finance, payroll providers, and vendors.
• Deliver reporting, budgeting, and vendor oversight across workforce metrics and related invoices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7–10+ years of broad HR generalist experience, including substantial hands-on HR operations experience in the UAE.
• Working knowledge of UAE employment practices, immigration processes, employee relations, and HR administration.
• Experience coordinating recruitment, onboarding, payroll inputs, benefits, performance cycles, and employee records.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; HRIS or HRMS experience is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal English; Arabic is advantageous.
• Recognised HR qualification is advantageous; experience in investment management, financial services, or professional services is preferred.

Location and workplace

• The position is based in ADGM, Abu Dhabi.
• Candidates must currently be based in the UAE and be willing to relocate or work five days a week in Abu Dhabi.
