Senior Functional Support Analyst - Finastra Trade Innovation

Role overview

Functional support and incident management

• Provide L2/L3 functional troubleshooting for end-user issues arising during the trade lifecycle.
• Analyze and resolve transactional errors, master data configuration mismatches, and failed workflows in the FTI engine.
• Replicate production bugs in staging and document steps, logs, and business impact before escalating to L3 developers or vendors.
• Acknowledge and resolve support tickets within defined SLA limits to reduce operational downtime.
• Resolve transactional blocks and translate changing trade policies into functional software updates.

Experience and platform knowledge

• Requires 7–10 years of total IT experience and deep Finastra Trade Innovation and trade finance operations expertise.
• Requires at least 3 years of hands-on experience with TI Plus, TI Plus2, or Fusion Trade Innovation; experience across two or more implementations or upgrades is ideal.
• Requires working knowledge of Trade Innovation modules, static data, customer and account setup, charges and tariffs, posting rules, workflows, and user roles.
• Familiarity with integration options and the Corporate Portal or a bank's corporate channel is requested.

Trade finance knowledge

• Requires strong knowledge of documentary credits, guarantees, collections, and trade financing lifecycles.
• Requires working knowledge of UCP 600, ISBP 821, URDG 758, ISP98, URC 522, URR 725, eUCP, and Incoterms 2020.
• The posting lists SWIFT Category 4 and 7 messages and MT798, and awareness of trade digitisation and electronic bills of lading.
• Supply chain finance knowledge is an advantage.
