Role overview

Facilities operations and service delivery

• Monitor hard and soft services, including cleaning, waste management, civil works, MEP works, and specialized services, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Monitor reactive maintenance requests, prepare non-compliance reports, and escalate incidents or complaints when needed.
• Inspect assigned assets for maintenance issues, infrastructure defects, and non-compliance.
• Manage FM, sewage treatment plant, landscaping, and FM infrastructure contracts.
• Monitor provider performance, certify monthly performance and payment certificates, and hold performance meetings covering service, HSE, and corrective actions.

Coordination, projects, and reporting

• Support Opex and Capex budgets, review quotations, and coordinate work completion requests for approval.
• Coordinate technical issues, fit-outs, permits, tendering, vendor submissions, and goods receipt notes with relevant teams and suppliers.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, defect rectification, and snagging during the Defects Liability Period.
• Support FM requirements through design, planning, construction, and handover of new assets.
• Monitor utilities expenditure and support sustainability and utility cost-saving initiatives.
• Work with HSE to identify risks and close corrective actions; resolve customer complaints and prepare weekly reports recommending improvements.

Knowledge, skills, and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Facilities Management is required.
• Practical facilities operations knowledge, including hard and soft services, maintenance, MEP, civil works, cleaning, waste management, and specialized services.
• Experience with service provider management, contract administration, SLA monitoring, contractor evaluation, and FM operations.
• Understanding of maintenance operations, tendering, quotation reviews, and vendor coordination.
• Knowledge of HSE and QHSE standards and statutory legislation for the built environment.
• Strong communication, negotiation, interpersonal, stakeholder management, planning, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• A professional qualification in real estate or facilities management, such as IWFM or equivalent, is an advantage.
