Senior Financial Analyst

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Develop financial models and conduct analysis using quantitative tools and techniques.
• Analyze actual revenues and costs; prepare root-cause variance analyses and periodic management reporting.
• Develop process improvements with finance stakeholders and business teams; conduct ad hoc revenue and cost analysis for Finance management.
• Develop business KPIs with business teams and report them regularly.
• Align financial accounting reporting with corporate and finance definitions; optimize relevant route profitability and reporting processes.
• Review annual budgets, control spending against cost-of-sale targets, and recommend measures.
• Review revenue-growth and cost-reduction business cases and contracts or agreements for financial compliance.
• Consolidate and analyze departmental financial results monthly and during annual budgeting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a minimum of four years of job-related experience.
• Experience as a financial analyst.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, and ability to work effectively across organizational levels.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, including reviewing variances, interpreting data, and understanding business-cycle impact on profit and loss.
• Excellent command of English.
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
• Strong organizational ability to prioritize, manage multiple responsibilities and interruptions, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with minimal instruction and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Knowledge of internal finance systems, cost centre accounting, and preparing budgets and forecasts.

Preferred qualification

• Airline industry experience is preferred.
