Role Description
The Senior Finance Manager is a part-time role based in Dubai with a hybrid working arrangement, combining on-site presence with some work-from-home flexibility.
This role oversees financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for ADIPEC’s events and operations.
Day-to-day responsibilities include managing financial statements, monitoring cash flow, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations, and overseeing cost control for conferences and exhibitions.
The Senior Finance Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams on revenue analysis, vendor contracts, and project financials, while providing strategic financial insights to leadership.
The role also includes supervising finance processes, supporting audits, and recommending process improvements to strengthen financial governance and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, with the ability to manage complex event-related financial models.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, analysis, and cash flow management, including experience preparing management reports and dashboards.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, compliance, and audit processes, preferably within the UAE or regional regulatory environment.
- Experience with ERP or financial systems and advanced Excel skills for modeling, reconciliation, and data analysis.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate financial information clearly, and support senior leadership decisions.
- Background in the events, energy, or related industries is highly beneficial, especially managing budgets for large-scale conferences or exhibitions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) or MBA is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage part-time hours efficiently, and handle multiple priorities with attention to detail.
