Role Description

The Procurement Manager will oversee sourcing and purchasing activities to support ADIPEC’s events and operations in Dubai.

This part-time, hybrid role involves managing supplier relationships, coordinating procurement processes, and ensuring cost-effective acquisition of goods and services while maintaining quality and compliance standards.

Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating suppliers, preparing and reviewing contracts, negotiating terms, monitoring procurement performance, and maintaining accurate records.

The role will require on-site work in Dubai for key meetings and event-related activities, with some flexibility for remote work from home.

The Procurement Manager will collaborate closely with event operations, finance, and legal teams to align procurement decisions with organizational objectives.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong procurement and supplier evaluation skills, including experience in sourcing, vendor selection, and performance assessment.
  • Candidates should possess contract negotiation and contract management skills to develop, review, and manage agreements with suppliers and service providers.
  • Candidates should possess analytical skills to interpret data, assess costs, identify savings opportunities, and support informed procurement decisions.
  • Candidates should possess solid communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Relevant experience in event management, energy, or related industries, and familiarity with regional procurement regulations, is beneficial.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, procurement, or a related field, and professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are advantageous.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Dubai, manage multiple priorities, and uphold ethical and transparent procurement practices.
