Qualifications and experience

• Requires 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, commercial management, or program financial control.
• Experience in IT services, managed services, or management consulting is preferred.
• Requires a bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Commerce.
• CA, CMA, CIMA, CPA, or MBA Finance qualifications are strongly preferred.

Financial planning and cost governance

• Own program P&L tracking and prepare rolling monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts.
• Analyze budget, actual, and forecast variances; explain root causes and recommend corrective action.
• Track delivery, subcontractor, and overhead costs against budget.
• Audit resource utilization and billability, investigate anomalies, and work with delivery leads to protect margins.

Systems, reporting, and advisory

• Maintain financials, revenue milestones, and cost bookings in DSWeb or enterprise equivalents such as SAP, Oracle ERP, or PSA tools.
• Maintain data integrity between operational trackers and enterprise financial systems.
• Prepare and present management financial packs, dashboards, and KPI reports.
• Advise program leadership on margin expansion, pricing, contract renegotiations, and the financial impact of scope or staffing changes.

Orders, billing, and cash flow

• Oversee work orders, statements of work, and purchase orders, including renewals and purchase-order coverage.
• Manage billing calendars, milestone and timesheet checks, and invoice generation.
• Monitor receivables, aging, unbilled revenue, and billing discrepancies with client procurement or finance teams.

Technical proficiency

• Requires advanced Excel skills, including complex financial models, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, dynamic arrays, nested logic, Pivot Tables, Power Query, and basic VBA/macros.
