MSHC seeks an experienced estimator for warehouse, industrial shed, and pre-engineered steel building construction.
The role prepares cost estimates, BOQs, and tender submissions for warehouse and industrial projects across the UAE.
The position is in the Estimation / Pre-Contracts department and is located in Dubai Investment Park 1, Dubai.
Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs and BOQs from architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Estimate civil, structural steel, PEB, cladding, and MEP scopes; analyze tender documents and identify scope and risks.
- Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations; prepare comparative analyses and value engineering recommendations.
- Coordinate bid preparation with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams; support contract negotiations.
- Track relevant material and labor rates and maintain historical cost databases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of estimation experience with a proven warehouse, industrial shed, or PEB construction track record.
- Strong knowledge of UAE construction market rates, standard specifications, structural steel, cladding, and warehouse-specific components.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software such as CostX, Candy, or similar.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- UAE experience is strongly preferred; a valid UAE driving license is a plus.
Compensation and benefits
- Pay is AED 4,800–17,000 per month, based on experience.
- The employer offers an employment visa and medical insurance.
