The company seeks an experienced estimator for warehouse, industrial shed, and pre-engineered steel building construction.
The role prepares accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and tender submissions for projects across the UAE.
The position is in the Estimation / Pre-Contracts department.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs and BOQs from architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Estimate civil, structural steel, PEB, cladding, and MEP scopes.
- Review tender documents and drawings to identify scope and risks.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations; prepare cost comparisons and value engineering recommendations.
- Coordinate bid preparation with project, engineering, and procurement teams.
- Track relevant warehouse construction material and labor rates.
- Support contract negotiations and maintain historical cost databases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- At least five years of estimation experience, including a proven track record in warehouse, industrial shed, or PEB construction.
- Strong knowledge of UAE construction market rates and standard specifications.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software such as CostX, Candy, or similar.
- Understanding of structural steel, cladding, and warehouse-specific components, including loading docks, high-bay racking clearances, and fire systems.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- UAE experience is strongly preferred; a valid UAE driving license is a plus.
