Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for building construction projects, supporting competitive pricing and cost efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs and tender submissions for building construction projects.
- Review drawings, specifications and tender documents to identify project requirements.
- Conduct quantity take-offs for civil, structural, architectural and finishing works.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations; analyse material, labour, equipment and subcontractor costs.
- Coordinate with project, procurement and commercial teams on tender preparation.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure accurate pricing.
- Prepare tender clarifications, cost breakdowns and estimation reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- At least 8–10 years of experience in construction estimation; UAE building-project experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of BOQs, quantity surveying, cost estimation and tendering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel and estimation software.
- Analytical, negotiation and coordination skills.
Pay
- Pay starts at AED 13,000 per month.
