Assists in developing and maintaining infrastructure, ensuring regulatory compliance, and optimizing water supply systems.
General Responsibilities
- **Policy, Procedures, Process and Systems**
- Ensure the compliance of organization’s policy, systems, processes, procedures, and controls in line with group delegation of authority policy so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service in a consistent manner.
- **Reporting**
- Ensure that all reports are completed timely and comply with the business policies and standards.
- Manage the preparation of periodical management reports and progress reports to keep the business senior management informed about the progress of various initiatives and to facilitate decision-making.
- Comply with organization’s requirements in a timely manner.
Job Specific Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the water network, monitoring key parameters like water pressure, flow rates, and quality.
- Investigate and resolve operational issues, including pipeline breaks or system malfunctions, to restore services efficiently.
- Analyze performance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and preventive measures to enhance network efficiency and reliability.
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce the risk of failures, prolong the life of equipment, and optimize network performance.
- Recommend and execute enhancements to the water network infrastructure, working with other teams to ensure seamless implementation.
- Ensure all operations adhere to relevant regulatory, environmental, and safety standards, making necessary adjustments to meet compliance.
- Support emergency response operations for incidents like water contamination or supply disruptions, ensuring swift resolution and minimum impact on customers.
- Assist in the planning and execution of network improvement projects, including expansions or upgrades, to support future demand.
- Prepare detailed reports on network performance, issues, and corrective actions taken, maintaining accurate documentation for operational audits.
- Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and external contractors to coordinate efforts related to network improvements and ongoing maintenance tasks.

Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
- 3 years of relevant working experience
Desired Requirements
- Master’s degree Engineering or equivalent
- 6 years of relevant working experience
