- Lead, Scheduling.
- What I will be doing:
- The Lead Scheduling role is critical in ensuring the success of projects by developing, managing, and maintaining comprehensive project schedules that align with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations.
- The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing project progress, and proactively identifying risks to ensure that timelines and resources are effectively managed.
- The Lead Scheduler is responsible for establishing best practices in scheduling, mentoring team members, and integrating advanced scheduling techniques and tools into the project lifecycle.
- This position requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering high-quality scheduling outputs that drive project performance and success.
- Lead the development, review and approval of detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives, standards and delivery milestones.
- Oversee and mentor the scheduling team, providing guidance on best practices, scheduling methodologies and tools.
- Lead delay analysis and Extension of Time processes with comprehensive and transparent documentation to support contractual negotiations.
- Coordinate with senior project managers, contractors, internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve scheduling concerns and align critical deadlines.
- Collaborate with risk management teams to identify schedule risks and drive mitigation strategies to minimize project delays.
- What I should I have?
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration or equivalent.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in project planning, scheduling or project controls.
- Strong knowledge of schedule development, critical path method, float path analysis, delay analysis and EoT documentation.
- Ability to lead stakeholder meetings, coordinate with contractors and communicate schedule issues clearly to senior management.
- Experience in Power Projects.
- Knowledge of FIDIC Contracts.
- Proven track record in management roles in complex engagements.
- Highly skilled user of Primavera (P6) and MS Project.
- Knowledge in Power BI.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience of working internationally (preferably in the UAE).
- Certifications: PMP, PSP, or equivalent.
- What will make me a distinctive candidate:
- Exposure to utilities, infrastructure & power projects.
- Master’s degree in engineering, Business Administration or equivalent.
- Certification or advanced training in project planning, scheduling, project controls or Primavera P6/MS Project.
