Senior Engineer - Test Equipment

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain electronic test equipment, test jigs, and automated test solutions for PCB assemblies, subassemblies, and subsystem-level testing.
• Develop firmware and software applications for test automation and product validation.
• Interpret technical specifications, Interface Control Documents, and test requirements to create hardware and software test interfaces.
• Lead and support mechatronics projects, participate in design reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote testing, validation, and systems integration best practices.

Basic qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 12 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree or 8 years with a master's degree in electronics, aerospace, defence, or test equipment development.
• Strong experience in electronics design, embedded systems, test equipment development, and hardware/software integration.
• Working knowledge of MCUs, FPGAs, firmware development, software programming, automated test systems, and engineering development tools.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience developing ATE, production test systems, qualification test rigs, HIL, or system-level test solutions.
• Experience in defence, aerospace, missile, UAV, or other mission-critical engineering environments, including systems engineering and product qualification activities.

Language
