Responsibilities

• Lead the software testing team and ensure timely delivery of test cases and execution.
• Design and maintain test cases from requirements and design documents; execute manual and automated tests.
• Collaborate with development and product teams and ensure adherence to RTCA DO-178C in safety-critical environments.
• Manage test planning, execution, defect reporting, and completion across the testing lifecycle.
• Oversee embedded systems testing and compatibility with avionics or aviation systems.
• Mentor testers in automation and continuous integration; improve QA strategies and testing methods.
• Coordinate integration and validation with cross-functional teams and foster a collaborative team environment.

Basic qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, including Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of software testing experience focused on embedded systems.
• Proficiency writing and executing manual and automated test cases.
• Embedded systems experience and familiarity with the QT framework.
• Understanding of software engineering processes from requirements through verification.
• In-depth RTCA DO-178C knowledge and experience in aviation software testing or aerospace embedded systems.
• UAV systems experience is preferred.

Preferred qualifications

• Technical and line management experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and tools is preferred.
• Agile and test-driven development familiarity is preferred.
• Analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills are preferred.
