Role Description
The Senior Electrical Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for leading electrical engineering activities for all kinds of projects.
This role includes developing and reviewing electrical designs, drawings, and specifications; coordinating with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines; and ensuring compliance with UAE codes, standards, and client requirements.
The Senior Electrical Engineer will oversee electrical installations, power distribution systems, and related testing and commissioning, while resolving technical issues on site.
Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising contractors, reviewing submittals, conducting inspections, preparing reports, and supporting project delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Relevant UAE experience in electrical engineering
- Experience in electrical design, site supervision, testing, and commissioning
- Experience across various construction projects (residential, commercial, hospitality, mixed-use, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of UAE regulations, codes, and standards
- Ability to coordinate with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong technical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Excellent English (spoken and written)
