Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Plumbing Engineer role based in Dubai.
The Plumbing Engineer will design, review, and coordinate plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and related building services.
Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing plumbing design drawings and calculations, ensuring compliance with local codes and international standards, and coordinating with MEP teams, architects, and contractors during design and construction.
The role involves conducting site inspections, resolving technical issues, supporting installation and commissioning activities, and verifying that plumbing works meet quality, safety, and performance requirements.
The Plumbing Engineer will also support project planning, cost control, and documentation to help deliver projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in Plumbing and Plumbing Design, including sizing, layouts, and system specifications.
- Experience with Water Supply systems, distribution networks, and related building services.
- Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) coordination within building services projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with UAE building codes, standards, and authority requirements is preferred.
- Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP) and MS Office tools.
- Proven experience in site supervision, quality control, and resolving construction-related technical issues.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- **Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in the UAE is required.**
