Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Heating and Air Conditioning Engineer role based in Dubai.
The Heating and Air Conditioning Engineer will design, review, and optimize HVAC systems, ensuring comfort, efficiency, and compliance with local codes and standards.
Responsibilities
include preparing HVAC layouts and calculations, collaborating with architects, designers, and consultants, and coordinating with contractors during installation and commissioning.
The role also involves performing site inspections, troubleshooting system issues, recommending corrective actions, and overseeing maintenance and repair activities.
The engineer will contribute to value engineering, energy-efficient solutions, and documentation, including technical reports, drawings, and operation and maintenance guidelines.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in HVAC Engineering and HVAC principles, including load calculations, equipment selection, and system sizing.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for preparing and reviewing technical drawings and layouts.
- Practical skills in HVAC installation oversight, testing, commissioning, and Maintenance & Repair of residential HVAC systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Familiarity with UAE building codes, safety regulations, and energy-efficiency standards for MEP systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications, and to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong problem-solving, time-management, and communication skills, with the ability to work on-site and manage multiple priorities.
- Previous experience in the UAE
