Senior Electrical Draftsman (5* Hotel Experience)

Overview

Electrical Drafting & Design

• Prepare and develop
• detailed electrical drawings
• including power layouts, lighting layouts, single line diagrams (SLD), ELV systems, grounding and lightning protection.
• Produce
• shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings
• for hotel facilities.
• Assist in the preparation of
• load schedules, panel board schedules, cable sizing
• , and voltage drop calculations as directed by engineers.
• Update drawings based on design changes, consultant comments, and site conditions.

Coordination & Collaboration

• Coordinate with
• architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and structural teams
• to avoid clashes and ensure alignment with hotel design requirements.
• Work closely with
• project engineers, site engineers, and BIM teams
• for drawing integration and conflict resolution.
• Attend design coordination meetings and incorporate revisions promptly.

Standards, Codes & Compliance

• Ensure drawings comply with
• local authority regulations
• ,
• international standards

(IEC, NEC, NFPA), and

• hotel brand-specific guidelines
• (Marriott, Hilton, Accor, etc. if required).
• Follow established drafting standards, templates, and QA/QC procedures.

Documentation & Technical Support

• Maintain drawing logs, revision histories, and document control in coordination with the project document controller.
• Assist in preparing
• material take-offs (MTOs)

Qualifications & Experience

• 3 Year Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• **5–10+ years of experience**
• in electrical drafting, preferably in
• hotel, high-rise, or commercial building projects
• .
• Strong understanding of electrical systems used in hospitality projects (guest-room control, emergency systems, ELV, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
