Overview

We are looking to hire a Senior Executive – Community DLP who will be responsible for

managing Defects Liability Period (DLP) activities across assigned communities, ensuring

timely closure of snags, and maintaining high-quality standards for our client based in

Dubai – which is one of the largest semi-government companies in the region.

This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 12 months and is renewable.

The role sits within the Community Management function and reports directly to the

Community Management Manager.

Key responsibilities

Oversee and manage all Defects Liability Period (DLP) activities across assigned

communities

Ensure closure of any balance community snags identified by the Community Management

team within agreed timelines

Manage and resolve defects in common and public areas during the DLP period in

coordination with FM teams and DLP contractors

Coordinate with FM providers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely

rectification of defects

Conduct regular site inspections to identify, track, and follow up on defects and

outstanding issues

Maintain accurate defect logs, trackers, and progress reports for management review

Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to SLAs and quality standards

Escalate delays or critical issues and drive timely resolution

Support smooth handover and transition from project completion to community operations

Ensure overall community readiness and quality standards are maintained

Knowledge, skills & experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

Minimum 5–8 years of experience in community management, property management, or

DLP/post-handover roles

Strong experience in snagging, defect management, and handover processes

Familiarity with UAE real estate and community operations

Experience

working with FM providers and contractors

Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills

Good analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)

Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)Availability:

Preference will be given to candidates available immediately.
