Senior Director - Contract Logistics

Role scope

Strategy, leadership, and budget

• Contribute to annual business plans and targets; implement departmental strategy and monitor performance and execution.
• Lead and develop a motivated, competent team by setting priorities, managing performance, and providing feedback and coaching.
• Contribute to functional budget preparation and monitor financial performance, anticipated costs and revenues, and improvement opportunities.

Supply chain and logistics operations

• Develop and execute strategies to optimize supply chain and logistics operations across resorts for efficient, cost-effective service.
• Guide supply chain team leaders and motivate them to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
• Oversee vendor management, maintain supplier relationships, negotiate favorable contracts, and ensure quality goods and services.
• Implement supply chain management systems; coordinate transportation and distribution, delivery schedules, and timely arrivals.
• Monitor transportation, procurement, storage, and distribution costs and implement savings without compromising quality.
• Develop quality control standards for incoming supplies to meet resort hospitality standards.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, legal requirements, and company policies.

Governance and improvement

• Ensure adherence to functional policies, processes, procedures, standards, and instructions.
• Prepare accurate and timely management information statements and reports.
• Apply safety, quality, and environmental controls to protect employees, meet legal requirements, and deliver quality products and services.
• Identify continuous improvements in systems, processes, cost reduction, and productivity.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
• At least 15–20 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or related roles.
• Hospitality industry or luxury resort operations experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership and people management skills; ability to motivate cross-functional teams.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain management principles, logistics operations, and best practices.

Skills and tools

• Proficiency with supply chain management software, inventory management systems, and relevant technology tools.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; ability to build supplier and stakeholder relationships.
• Analytical ability to assess complex data and make strategic decisions; strong problem-solving and creative thinking.
