Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Ground Control Station software using Qt Framework and QML, focusing on intuitive, high-performance GUI development.
- Participate in the full software lifecycle, including planning, design, coding, testing, integration, and deployment.
- Collaborate with hardware and embedded systems teams to integrate software with connected and networked components.
- Perform integration testing to validate functionality, reliability, and performance.
- Document architecture, design decisions, and requirement specifications; maintain user guides and technical documentation.
- Write and maintain unit tests, collaborate on technical requirements, and deliver scalable, efficient solutions.
- Adhere to coding standards and best practices, particularly in safety-critical environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Minimum 10 years of software development experience, or 7 or more years with a Master’s degree.
- At least 5 years of hands-on C++ development experience.
- Strong expertise in Qt Framework, Qt QML, and GUI-based application development.
- Proven experience with large and complex codebases.
Technical Competencies
- Strong C++ proficiency, object-oriented programming principles, and understanding of design patterns.
- Experience in integration and unit testing, especially in embedded systems environments.
- Understanding of TCP, UDP, and IP networking protocols.
- Hands-on Linux development experience; familiarity with Python for tools and automation.
- Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.
- Understanding of RTOS and real-time software design concepts.
- Familiarity with UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and Ethernet communication protocols.
- Awareness of DO-178C, ISO 26262, and RTCA guidelines; debugging, performance optimization, and Git experience.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies is an added advantage.
