Design, build, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions for enterprise analytics, reporting, and modernization.
Work with reporting and analytics teams to deliver curated data and AI-enabled reporting capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, reusable datasets, and transformation logic using Databricks, Snowflake, Oracle, and SQL.
- Help modernize legacy Cognos reporting by translating business logic into cloud-based data and reporting solutions.
- Prepare reporting-ready data for Power BI and related dashboards; support AI summaries, natural-language exploration, and AI-assisted insights.
- Contribute to AI-enabled solutions using Databricks Genie, AI/BI capabilities, and related tools.
- Support semantic and metrics layers, data governance, metadata, data dictionaries, and schema documentation.
- Support development, test, and production delivery, including deployment coordination, validation, and platform readiness.
- Partner with engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable production data and AI solutions.
Required qualifications
- Power BI experience.
- Hands-on Databricks and Snowflake experience.
- Production delivery and support experience.
- Experience using AI tools such as Copilot, Claude, or Codex.
- Advanced SQL, data troubleshooting, data validation, and end-to-end ownership.
- Clear communication with business partners, engineers, and product owners.
Preferred qualifications
- Cognos; Databricks Genie or AI/BI; Python and PySpark; ETL/ELT pipeline development and support.
- Unity Catalog, metadata, lineage, and governed data; CI/CD, Git, and deployment automation.
- Reporting experience in financial, billing, payment, delinquency, or membership domains.
