Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder discussions to understand reporting, analytics, and business intelligence requirements.
• Translate business challenges into practical and scalable reporting solutions.
• Design and maintain automated reporting, dashboards, and self-service analytics capabilities.
• Build and optimise SQL-based data pipelines and reporting frameworks.
• Develop KPI reporting and visualisation solutions using Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Identify trends, opportunities, and performance drivers through advanced analytics.
• Manage project delivery, communications, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
• Maintain data quality, governance, and reporting accuracy.
• Drive continuous improvement across reporting processes and analytics capabilities.

Skills and experience

• Strong commercial experience working with SQL across large and complex datasets.
• Proven experience delivering reporting, business intelligence, and analytics solutions.
• Experience with dashboard development and data visualisation using Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Experience with data modelling, data transformation, and reporting automation.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into actionable analytical solutions.
• Experience delivering projects in client-facing or consulting environments.
• Retail or sales data experience is particularly advantageous.
• Knowledge of Google Sheets and broader reporting technologies is advantageous.
• Exposure to supply chain, operational, commercial, or performance reporting is beneficial.
