Role overview

Work arrangement

• The role requires three days per week onsite.

Role and responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain end-to-end pipelines from raw source systems to business-ready analytical datasets.
• Build clean, tested, documented, modular data transformations using dbt and Google BigQuery.
• Write scalable Python for third-party API extraction, custom ingestion, and workflow orchestration.
• Build reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards in Data Studio or Metabase for commercial, product, and marketing teams.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with engineering, product, and commercial stakeholders.
• Identify data discrepancies, performance bottlenecks, and architectural improvements to keep the platform resilient and scalable.

Required experience

• Strong hands-on GCP experience, particularly with BigQuery, Cloud Run, and DataStream.
• Proficiency in dbt, including testing, documentation, and dimensional or modular modeling.
• Solid Python skills for data extraction, automation, and pipeline orchestration.
• Experience designing reporting models and dashboards in Looker, Data Studio, or Metabase.
• Advanced SQL, including window functions, query optimization, and BigQuery cost management.

Preferred background

• Experience in a fast-paced scale-up, e-commerce, subscription, or consumer-facing business is a plus.
